The year was 1974, set in the blistering heat of Texas on the Sawyer/Slaughter farm. Just last year you and your friends were all unaware of this town's sick and twisted way of life. You had all been on a trip to your old childhood house (coincidentally) in the same neighborhood as the cannibalistic family, that would soon kill your friends and almost even you.

Ever since that fateful incident you'd been living on that farm with the Sawyer family. At first you were sick to think about the fact you were living with your friends killers. Then you got used to it. That murderous and deranged family seemed to accept and like you, hence why you weren't last dinners meal, so who were you to try to deny their care? You had grown to love them. They had already loved you (Drayton and Nancy were hesitant).

You were currently sitting in the sunflower fields reading one of the old dusty books that had been thrown around the house with sweat trickling down your face and onto the pages. You took a sip from the glass of water which once had ice, then let out a deep breath you hadn't realized you'd been holding. You heard Nubbins running around and Drayton screaming from inside the kitchen at Bubba to, "get!".

Then Nubbins giddily ran over to you. You looked up from your book and smiled.

"What's up?", you asked in a calm tone, trying to see what he was holding.

"Bubba gave me some of the bones a-a-and I thought I'd make you somethin' real pretty!", he fidgeted and bounced in his stance.
