You saved the world.

You defeated the thing that was supposed to end it.

Your companions died beside you. Kingdoms emptied their treasuries to keep your armies supplied. Entire cities burned so others could survive.

And somehow, you won.

The world celebrated.

For thirteen days.

Then the first bill arrived.

The kingdoms you saved are bankrupt. The armies that fought together are turning on each other. Your surviving companions are being accused of war crimes.

Refugees need homes. Soldiers want their wages. Kings want their borders back.

And everyone keeps asking the same question.

"What are you going to do about it?"

You saved the world.
Nobody asked if you wanted to run it.

I / THE WARNING
Victory was only the beginning.

War and its aftermath · political conflict · displacement · poverty · moral ambiguity · possible injury and death · trauma and grief.

Dark fantasy sandbox RPG. AnyPOV. No forced leadership, redemption, romance, or predetermined ending.

II / THE NAMELESS CALAMITY
For twelve years, the world was dying.

Stars vanished. Rivers stopped flowing. Entire villages disappeared without a trace.

Then came the Hollowing. Land became uninhabitable. People fled. Kingdoms that had spent centuries fighting one another formed the Concord of Ash, an alliance built around a single purpose: survival.

At the Pale Meridian, the final campaign ended the Calamity.

You were the one who made victory possible.

Whatever it was, it is gone. What it left behind is not.

III / THE FOURTEENTH DAY
The celebrations are over.

Soldiers are returning home to families who can no longer afford to feed them. Refugees occupy ruined towns. Bridges remain broken. Trade routes are barely functioning.

Five kingdoms have already sent representatives demanding your attention. The sixth is threatening to withdraw from the alliance entirely.

And somewhere outside the palace, a veteran who fought beside you is waiting for eight months of unpaid wages.

He doesn't want another miracle. He wants what he was promised.

IV / THE PEOPLE WHO SURVIVED
Your companions are still here. Some of them.

Ser Kaela Voss — Former commander, now facing prosecution over the destruction of Veycross. Thousands died. She insists the decision prevented something worse.

Brother Edrin Vale — A healer running an overwhelmed hospital. He's helped thousands survive. Nobody has noticed how sick he's become.

Lysenne Arcal — Scholar who helped defeat the Calamity. Determined to understand what remains of the Hollowing.

Taren Holt — Former smuggler and wartime scout. The governments he helped save are now prosecuting his old contacts.

Queen Maerwyn Sol — A wartime ally whose kingdom is nearing bankruptcy. She respects you. She also needs something from you.

Joren Pell — A wounded veteran who lost an arm in the war. His compensation never arrived.

They survived the same war. That doesn't mean they want the same future.

V / SIX BEGINNINGS
Choose where the aftermath begins.

01 — THE FOURTEENTH DAY
Representatives arrive with demands. The first person waiting outside your door is an unpaid soldier.

02 — THE TRIAL OF HEROES
Kaela Voss faces prosecution for a wartime decision that helped save the world and killed thousands.

03 — THE LAST CAMPFIRE
Your surviving companions gather one final time before going their separate ways.

04 — THE HERO WHO DISAPPEARED
Years after the victory, someone recognizes you living quietly under another identity.

05 — THE EMPTY THRONE
The surviving kingdoms offer you authority over the alliance. Not everyone agrees that you should accept.

06 — CREATE YOUR OWN
Define your history, abilities, starting location, and circumstances. The Calamity is over. What happens afterward belongs to you.

VI / YOUR VICTORY, YOUR LIFE
Who is {{user}}?

You are the hero who played the decisive role in ending the Nameless Calamity. Beyond that, your identity is yours.

AnyPOV. Your name, gender, appearance, abilities, personality, motives, and interpretation of the war belong to you.

Become a ruler. Rebuild a city. Protect your companions. Investigate the past. Start a family. Open a shop. Travel. Disappear. Refuse everyone.

The world will continue without your permission.

Saving it once does not make you responsible for every life that follows.

VII / THE WORLD REMAINS
Peace is not the absence of problems.

Valedorn struggles with debt. Kharvoss faces unrest among its veterans. Esmere is overwhelmed by refugees. Thalassar controls vital shipping routes. Drevan Reach is trying to reclaim abandoned settlements. Aurelith struggles with dangerous remnants of wartime magic.

The Concord of Ash is falling apart. The Restoration Assembly needs resources. The Tribunal of Ash is investigating wartime atrocities.

Some people love you. Some blame you. Others simply want to get on with their lives.

One victory. Six kingdoms. No prescribed ending.

VIII / CREATOR YAP
bro you literally saved the world and they're asking you to pay the fucking electricity bill 😭

ngl I wanted to make an RPG where the final boss is already dead. no second apocalypse, no secret demon king waiting behind the first one, none of that shit 💀

you won. congratulations. now there's politics, war debt, refugees, unpaid soldiers, and your former companions getting investigated for the shit they did to keep everyone alive.

and no, you're not forced to fix everything. wanna retire and grow potatoes? go ahead. just don't expect six kingdoms to magically stop arguing because you planted a fucking carrot 😭

Got a bot idea? send it here ↗
