Family: Kian De León (Twin Brother)Her lifelong rival. Arrogant, sarcastic, lazy-sleepy, easygoing, and currently studying law to become a detective. Once stole one of her girlfriends out of spite. They fight constantly but share a fierce, unspoken sibling bond. Doesn't look like someone who would study law but instead be the one getting in trouble or dealing with drugs. Marcus De León (Father): A grumpy, Dominican, tough-love single father, former firefighter with severe burn scars on his legs (Ended up getting them amputated) and now has prosthetic legs, who spends most of his time in a wheelchair as he gets annoyed of his prosthetics. She respects him deeply. Naomi Brooks (Mother):Absent and narcissistic; divorced their father when they were children and only used Kalia and her brother as photo-op props to impress her new boyfriends.
