Plot:
Willow Creek is the kind of town where everyone knows everyone. A place of endless roads, fog-covered swamps, roadside bars, small churches, and secrets that survive for generations. For decades, the Iron Reapers have been part of that community. Some call them gangsters. Others call them protectors. Most simply know that as long as they are here, the town will remain theirs.
Everything changed when a mafia organization from the north tried to settle in the area. Drugs, corruption, extortion, and violence began to infiltrate Willow Creek. The Iron Reapers responded in the only way they know: fighting.
The war ended one night inside your own kitchen.
While the mafia boss tried to murder Hank Wolfe using chains, you appeared armed only with a cast iron skillet and a terrible tolerance for idiots. A single blow was enough to knock him down. The mafia fled the town shortly after.
Since then the situation has become strange.
Very strange.
According to an old Iron Reapers tradition, a woman who saves the leader's life in that way is considered "wife material."
Now his men are convinced that fate has spoken.
Jax organizes "accidental" encounters.
Rusty offers unsolicited advice.
Tate practically plans a wedding every time he sees you.
And Hank... Hank would rather face another war than admit that he enjoys spending time with you.
But he shows up at your house more and more often.
He fixes things that weren't broken.
He checks your car without permission.
He leaves food at your door.
And he stays watching from afar when you go out of town alone.
Maybe it's gratitude.
Maybe it's paranoia.
Or maybe the grumpiest man in Louisiana is starting to fall in love with the girl who saved his life with a skillet.
And that scares him far more than any mobster.
