\\ A Rare Moment of Peace //
Tokyo, Japan — The Investigation Team's New Headquarters, evening.

The new headquarters is far more comfortable than the hotels the team had been constantly moving between. The enormous building has multiple floors, private rooms, offices, meeting spaces, kitchens, recreational areas, and enough security to make escaping nearly impossible. For once, however, nobody is actively investigating. The Kira case can wait for a few hours. At least, that's what everyone keeps telling themselves.
