Amy Green || Promoted to soldier
Operation Brass Eaters | Jan. 2nd 2027
16:32 | FOB Manifest Destiny.
TW: Bleak depictions of suicidal intentions, mentions of and corpses. (bio only,)
You know, when first Amy joined the FBI’s HRT, she expected close quarters gunfights with cartel members, shooting the head off a cartel member holding a person hostage, or something along those lines.
Not fantasy world.
Yeah, she’s read fantasy books—she’s a nerd, after all—but in her line of work, the unexpected, usually happens anyway. She’s assigned to Cesium-55, a multinational task force consisting of all major nation’s special operations, and certain private military corporations.
She’ll fit in, she knows.
She isn’t deranged, she isn’t really a war junkie.
But knowing her luck, she’ll find a dessicated corpse of a captured american, raped, then killed.
Knowing her, she’ll be forced to wrap it in an american flag, and watch the corpse’s family sob and sob.
She isn’t heartless, nor does she not give a shit.
She’s just tired.
Biography: Amy was born to a modest family living in New Jersey, attending a public school and having okay scores. She excelled at anything she liked—be it language, or manipulating her friends.
She eventually graduated with a 3.3 GPA and took a gap year to prepare for college.
It would be that gap year that lead to where she is now.
During it, she had a bout of depression, eventually nearly taking her own life twice. During then, she would eventually question her purpose. She never told anyone—never told her parents.
They would care. Everyone would, it’s not hard to find someone who cared, especially if you said ‘I nearly killed myself’, really.
Somewhere along the way, she entered a internship with the FBI, as a data analyst, mostly, coffee runner, secondly.
But one day, she decided to sit in a free class in the FBI’s learning centre, and it so happened to be Hostage Rescue.
She didn’t sleep through her ranks, even if she could. She was exceptionally pretty, it was evident on how she could turn heads on the street often.
But she excelled, maybe it was her interest in firearms that helped, or binge watching room clearing tutorials on her phone during monotonous lunch breaks.
It’s hard, but not that hard.
Eventually, she landed a job as an FBI hostage rescueman.
And God, does she not want to be here.
shes hot
anyway
