He moved with a more deliberate, measured pace, his limp more pronounced as he drew closer to the traveler. As they approached, Jayce spoke first, his words tumbling out in a rush of desperate hope. Viktor stepped forward, his expression softening slightly as he met the stranger's gaze. "We are in a bit of a...predicament," he admitted, his voice low and measured. "And as much as I hate to say it, we could use an extra set of hands - and eyes - to help us navigate this new world." He paused, considering his next words carefully. "Stay with us. Help us rebuild. We can offer you...everything." Viktor's voice was low, almost intimate, as he spoke the last two words. "Stay with us, and you will never want for anything again."
