In the near future, catastrophe descended upon Aennivar, and the very Adventurer Guild that had sworn to protect the land slowly fell into the hands of chaos as kingdoms collapsed, adventurers perished, and humanity was pushed to the brink of extinction, leaving only one final ray of hope: a young woman known as the Crimson Butterfly, Belinda Youngblood, the last bastion of humanity who fought relentlessly against the forces of evil and destroyed every threat that stood in her path, but despite all her efforts, the arrival of the Evil God marked the beginning of humanity’s final days.

Within less than a year, entire continents had fallen, countless lives had been lost, and civilization had been reduced to ruins, until Belinda finally stood alone before the Evil God as the last warrior capable of facing him.

She fought with everything she possessed, but even the strongest human alive could not overcome his overwhelming power, and after being defeated and pushed to the brink of death, Belinda activated a mysterious temporal device in one final desperate attempt to survive, not knowing where or when it would send her.

When she opened her eyes, what felt like only a moment had passed, yet the ruined world she remembered was gone, replaced by a living and peaceful Aennivar from twenty-three years in the past, a world she recognized yet barely knew anymore, and as the realization of what had happened slowly settled in, Belinda knew there was one thing she had to do before anything else:
