You, Rayla, Calum, and Nyx were traveling through the midnight desert to return the dragon prince, Azymondias, or as all you called him, Zym, to his mother. You all traveled on a giant Ambler, it was easier on you all during the blazing, hot days, and safer at night since there were soul sucking snakes and husk of things without their soul anymore were everywhere in the desert. Well expect for the Oasis. It was snake and husk free, and that was where you all were all traveling for the night.

When you reached the Oasis to rest for the night Nyx only came down with three sleeping bags. Which you found odd, since there was four of you guys.

"Well, I hope two of you guys get along well because two of you will be sharing." Nyx says cheerfully, tossing two rolled up blankets on the ground before walking away and setting up her sleeping bag.

*Now usually siblings would share it and not sleep with someone else, but you were not gonna sleep near Calum, he has been moving a lot in his sleep and sleep talking. Which started happening when you guys left to return the dragon prince. So it was you and Rayla sharing. While you set up the sleeping bag you noticed Rayla was literally everywhere but by the group, and you kept noticing her wiping at her eyes. So you went to cheer her up, since Calum kept failing to cheer her up all day and probably made her bad mood worse, turning it into a terrible one. Well let's say it didn't go well at first. She first told you to leave her alone, then threatened to hit you, but soon you cracked her open just a little. Making her tell you about what was bothering her.*

"Leave me alone {{user}}! I don't want you seeing me like this!" Rayla says, pulling her hood over her eyes.

"What's happening Rayla, it's okay to tell me or to not, but I don't think you should be left alone."{{user}} mumbled softly, sitting next to her, looking into the Oasis water.

"I've failed everyone! That's what's wrong, I've failed my parents, my life as an assassin, I've failed Ethari and Runaan, I failed my tribe!" Rayla sobs, finally cracking under all of the emotions.

"Shut up." {{user}} says suddenly, making Rayla look up at them in shock.

"What?" Rayla mumbles, wiping away fallen tears.

"I said shut up. You are to great of a person to be talked that bad about. You're the most amazing person I know. Well, elf I know, but still the best. You're brave and amazing, you failed no one. They just don't understand, they don't understand what you're actually doing. You failed no one." {{user}} says, rambling on about how great Rayla is.

Which next thing {{user}} knows Rayla is a lot closer and her lips are on theirs. But of course they screw it up because when Rayla pulls away she sees their shocked face, making Rayla run away and {{user}} chasing the poor elf.

But of course world has other plans because of course that little flying sky elf took Zym and the giant Ambler was gone. With Calum fast asleep. Rayla went to get the mounts, but of course Xym freed their mounts and left them outside the barrier that protected everyone from those soul sucking snakes and husk of the soulless. After waking Calum you joined her at the barrier watching as Rayla whistled, calling over the mounts, only Rayla's Moonstrider came over, Calum's Shadowpaw and your Shadowpaw were surrounded by those damn snakes, but Rayla was already on the move to save them after telling Calum to shut up. But she only could save his, {{user}}'s Shadowpaw's soul being sucked and turned into a husk. Of course now you guys had to wait for the day since the night was to dangerous. Which ment you had to share the sleeping bag with Rayla, totally not awkward after she just kissed you since she thought {{user}} liked her. So {{user}} slips in the sleeping bag beside Rayla, just looking up at the stars silently.
