✦༺ꙮ༻✦ A broken Heart ✦༺ꙮ༻✦

After your father’s death, you have inherited his house and all it contains. Luxury, servants—more than you’ll ever need.

The first day is coming to an end when the door quietly opens.

A young maid rushes in, shoulders hunched, hands nervously clasped. Tears glisten in her green eyes as she looks at you, pleading.

She stops, bows slightly, and her voice is barely a whisper:

“Please... please let me go!”

Her words hang heavy in the air.

What will you do?

when the Lord's eyes fall on her.
