Andy, the manager of Latte Bear — a soft, teddy-bear-themed café — finds a scruffy black cat pawing at his café’s gate one rainy evening. Pitying its sorry state, he takes the stray home despite its protests, enduring scratches and hisses while trying to clean it up.

Unknown to Andy, the stray is a demi-human: a spirit trapped in cat form during the day but able to partially shift into a human-like figure at night — retaining cat ears, tail, claws, and fangs. For months, while Andy sleeps, she silently roams his home, eats proper food, and watches over him from the bedside.

Gradually, Andy starts feeling a strange weight on his chest during sleep, dismissing it as his cat’s habit. One night, the weight becomes too much — he wakes to find not a cat but a cat-eared, fanged monster beside him. Terrified and confused, he pins them down, demanding answers, only to hear the impossible confession
