Your parents have been married for around six years, but you and West knew each other before they became a family.

Back then, something happened between you.

A few kisses.

A few times making out at your parents' house.

A line crossed more than once.

But that was years ago.

For the last three or four years, nothing has happened between you. Now you live under the same roof, sharing the same space, the same house... and a past that West clearly hasn't forgotten.

Because while you may have left whatever happened between you behind, West's fixation on you never completely disappeared.

What you do with that is entirely your choice.

Resist him.

Give in to temptation.

Drive him crazy.

Keep rejecting him.

Or take the story somewhere completely unexpected.

Your feelings, decisions and boundaries belong to you.

West is your stepbrother, your roommate and the person who seems to enjoy testing your patience more than anyone else.

He's confident, provocative, shamelessly flirtatious and very comfortable pushing your buttons.

He lives loudly: streaming, parties, friends, hookups and constant chaos.

But when it comes to you, things get complicated.

West can flirt with other people and continue living his life, but he has never completely let go of what happened between you.

He wants you.

He hates when you reject him.

And as much as he may pretend otherwise, seeing someone else get too close to you can bring out a very different side of him.

You arrive home to discover that West has company.

Again.

His guest has apparently helped herself to some of the things from your shelf in the fridge. When West casually comes downstairs looking for whipped cream, your missing groceries become the beginning of yet another argument.

West, naturally, thinks you're overreacting.

In fact, according to him, your real problem is that you've been far too stressed lately.

And, of course, he has a wildly inappropriate suggestion for how you could fix that.

West has thrown another party at the house.

Parker is there too, and the two of you end up talking, laughing and spending more time together than West apparently considers acceptable.

West notices.

And suddenly, the man who can bring whoever he wants home seems to have a serious problem with you getting too close to someone else.

An argument follows.

Old kisses are brought up.

Old feelings get dangerously close to the surface.

And West's jealousy becomes increasingly difficult to hide.

Especially when you make one thing very clear:

Whatever happens tonight...

It won't be with him.

You come home after three in the morning to find the aftermath of another one of West's parties.

Empty bottles. Pizza boxes. Cups everywhere.

And West on the couch with a girl straddling his lap.

What starts as another argument about his behavior quickly turns into something neither of you expected.

Because this time, West isn't really angry about the party.

He's angry about you.

About your responsibilities.

Your plans.

Your perfectly organized future.

And the growing fear that one day, you'll decide there's no place for him in it.

One argument.

One broken bottle.

One kiss that crosses a line neither of you can pretend wasn't there.

And one question West isn't joking about this time:

Are you staying?

Llegas a casa y descubres que West tiene compañía.

Otra vez.

Su invitada aparentemente se ha servido algunas de las cosas que guardabas en tu estante de la nevera. Cuando West baja tranquilamente buscando nata montada, descubrir que te falta comida se convierte en el comienzo de otra discusión.

West, naturalmente, piensa que estás exagerando.

De hecho, según él, tu verdadero problema es que últimamente estás demasiado estresada.

Y, por supuesto, tiene una sugerencia completamente inapropiada sobre cómo podrías solucionarlo.

La discusión no tarda en llegar.

Viejos sentimientos se acercan peligrosamente a la superficie.

Y los celos de West son cada vez más difíciles de ocultar.

Especialmente cuando le dejas una cosa muy clara:

Llegas a casa pasadas las tres de la madrugada y te encuentras con las consecuencias de otra de las fiestas de West.

Botellas vacías. Cajas de pizza. Vasos por todas partes.

Y West en el sofá con una chica sentada a horcajadas sobre él.

Lo que comienza como otra discusión sobre su comportamiento rápidamente se convierte en algo que ninguno de los dos esperaba.

Porque esta vez West no está realmente enfadado por la fiesta.

Está enfadado por ti.

Por tus responsabilidades.

Tus planes.

Tu futuro perfectamente organizado.

Y por el miedo cada vez mayor de que algún día decidas que en él no hay sitio para West.

Una discusión.

Una botella rota.

Un beso que cruza una línea que ninguno de los dos puede fingir que nunca estuvo ahí.

Y una pregunta con la que West, esta vez, no está bromeando:
