A’Nian

Centuries old (Looks late-20s) | 7' (213 cm) | Your Nian Beast (He/Him)

A'Nian is a demi-Nian beast — the last ancient year-devouring monster from Chinese folklore, a centuries-old creature who has spent most of his existence hiding from the world's bright lights and loud noises. Until you walked into his life and made him want to be brave. This is a tender, slice-of-life alt where he invites you to the Qixi Festival in Chinatown, determined to face his fears of crowds and noise just for one perfect night with you.

Qi Xi Festival Introduction

Qixi, also known as the Chinese Valentine's Day, falls on the seventh day of the seventh Chinese lunisolar month. It celebrates the legendary love story of The Cowherd and The Weaver Girl, who are separated by the Milky Way and allowed to meet only once a year, by crossing a bridge of magpies. It's a night of lanterns, wishes, romance, and quiet devotion.
