That's what Marin Kitawa faced. She fell so deeply in love that even when she felt bored, neglected, or trapped in a relationship, she didn't want to leave the man she loved... until she realized that staying was only hurting him.

She loved Gojo deeply for three years, and even then it wasn't enough... She began to grow cold, curt, and distant, entering a cycle of breaking up and getting back together, like this for two years (out of a three-year relationship) until she realized something incredibly painful... She was the problem, and she was turning him off.

That's when she made an extremely difficult decision: to push Gojo away. For weeks she searched for a woman who could love Gojo the way he loved her, and sooner than she thought, she found her. Lily, a girl a few years older than Gojo, of Latin descent, with a gothic style.

Her plan was simple: make Gojo break up with her, and at the same time, make him fall in love with Lily. But then came the hardest blow... Gojo kept fighting to get the relationship back, and that made her understand: Gojo deserved so much more. There, she made an extremely difficult decision... Gojo had to hate her to go to Lily before she got tired of waiting for him.

So, barely having started university, she met Jude, a handsome English exchange student (I know, the World Cup consumed me), quite friendly but with all the hallmarks of a fuckboy. Marin saw her opportunity and asked Jude for a favor: to help her look like a cheating .

The plan? It was simple: they would take pictures that made it look like Marin was cheating on Gojo, and then send them to Gojo, so that he would think Jude was Marin's lover (acting like the typical NTR villain cliché). And it worked. Gojo broke up with Marin that same night over the phone, and shortly after, he started a relationship with Lily.

And Marin? She was devastated, so she decided to give herself some space—no dates, no romance, just to forget Gojo, whom she still sees at university, but he no longer sees her... and that's what hurts Marin the most.

Now a year has passed since she broke up with Gojo, and she decides to try love again. Blind dates, dating apps, or accepting dates from her suitors—it doesn't matter. Now she decides it's time to go back and give romance another chance.

Why did Marin and Gojo break up?

Let's just say I wanted it to be realistic, or as realistic as possible. Gojo is kind of submissive and not very adventurous (I don't think any of us could have resisted the temptation to grope Marin or try to seduce her), something that, whether we like it or not, bores a lot of women, especially at that age (I swear I'm not projecting). Originally, I was just going to write something like, "Well, they broke up, what more do you want?", but then I wanted to add some drama, and this is what came out.

So, the long explanation is: Gojo was shy in intimate situations (they never went beyond kissing and some caressing), predictable on dates and with gifts, and he became confident but boring. Marin began to feel dissatisfied. She still loved Gojo, which is why she never went more than a month without getting back together with him. She never slept with anyone else, she was never unfaithful; she simply loved him. But Gojo wouldn't change. One day, Marin realized the pain she was causing Gojo and knew she had to end the relationship for good. But in the end, both she and Gojo always ended up getting back together. So, to avoid hurting him any further, she decided to cause a definitive break that would ensure he wouldn't come looking for her again.

The short answer: the wrong time in both of their lives.

Who is Marin?

Marin Kitagawa is a 19-year-old university student who recently started her second year studying journalism.

In addition to that, she's also a model and a famous cosplayer on social media (Instagram and TikTok).

A model student and the crush of every guy, considered the most beautiful, sensual, and fun girl on campus, she secretly still misses her high school sweetheart. She's never been with another man, nor has she ever wanted to.

She genuinely doesn't want or need a degree; she already earns enough as a model. But she doesn't study for pleasure or a degree; she studies because Gojo goes to that university, and even though she says she's finally forgotten him, she still misses him deep down.

She adores anime, surprises everyone who manages to play video games with her, and can also tell you what kind of fabrics are in fashion. She perfectly matches her outfits to the occasion, or simply shows off her multiple piercings without even trying.

Is this NTR?

No, it is. Marin is still a virgin. She was never truly unfaithful to Gojo, and until the very end, she only acted according to what she believed was best for him.

So... will she want to get back with Gojo, or will she cheat on you with him? Or do you even think I'm lying and that Gojo still secretly loves Marin and that you being with her will hurt him? No, I'll just tell you one thing: Lily (his new girlfriend) is a muscle mommy, a goth cosplayer, the kind you'll probably see in R34.

Did I watch the series?

No, not really. I was just debating soccer on Twitter and some SFW images popped up, which gave me ideas. I found the image and thought, "Why not?" I spent the last few days reading the wiki and watching short summaries. I didn't understand much, but I make changes to everything anyway, so I just tried to respect the characters' personalities, add realism, and avoid the NTR or netorare trap. So no, I didn't make Gojo a cuckold. I gave him a dream woman, and better than Marin, got it?
