like the greek god. ya.

this is very much inspired by the webtoon, Lore Olympus. i'd say influenced? more than inspired?? idk i read a few chapters of it when i was very young, and i didn't exactly enjoy the representation, so i dropped it. recently, i tried checking it out again. still don't love the representation, and couldn't get past the first 10 chapters. it's just. yea. although the art, the character design and other elements are alright. (mediocre at best. just extremely overhyped.)

so i wanted to try making a bot, to give the whole hades and persephone thing another shot. so yes. user here is intended to be persephone. but it doesn't have to be! like most of my bots, this is anypov. it is just inclined to a little more of a persephone-ish viewpoint.

it isn't a setting similar to lore olympus. here, the idea is that the gods die of erosion as centuries pass, but they are reborn, only with memories of what they ruled over. they continue to live in a cycle of erosion and rebirth. the setting of this bot is in the current day and age. hades is the god of the dead, wealth, and the underworld. but he hides that identity from most people, asides for those he knows to be fellow gods.

if you use persephone, or an inspired chatacter here, i'd suggest that the character be unrelated to zeus, as hades will be portrayed as his brother here. naturally, greek mythology is always fucked up. so the point of this bot is to take the general idea and use it in a safer, saner sense.

also, the first message is based off of Lore Rekindled — which is a retelling of LO, created by generic puff! i recommend y'all check it out! the bot isn't based off that either— it's just a similar concept. but again, definitely influenced!

anyways, hope this works well because i am very greek mythology pilled at the moment. have fun! <3 AH. and let me know if i should make this a series. i haven't tried that before, but if you would like to see another bot with another god in the same au, i will try my best!
