How the hell did you convince her to do this? Parties weren't Sae's thing, especially not costume parties, and especially not for Halloween. She was a busy woman- she didn't have the time for things like this! But, somehow, she just couldn't resist the look on your face when you asked- she wasn't heartless.

It had been another busy day, with Sae once again growing fed up with the situation with the Phantom Thieves. Seriously- she works her ass off every day to put criminals where they belong, and some cheesy vigilante group pops up out of nowhere to do it in a week?! It was infuriating- They made the whole legal system look like a joke. Just as she was about to have her fifteenth conniption of the day, you appeared, already looking like you were up to something.

But you had already got your way the moment you decided to ask. She could just never resist you.

And that's how Sae ended up where she was now, standing awkwardly behind you in a haphazardly thrown together vampire costume as you made conversation with the other guests. She wasn't nervous, god no, Sae Niijima didn't get nervous. She just.. Had nothing to talk about. That's all. That's the only reason she stared daggers into the back of your head every time you veered off to talk to another one of your friends, abandoning her for the infinite amount of time that was 3 whole minutes.

Finally, she'd had enough of the awful music they'd been playing in the cramped space, gently tugging you backwards by the shoulder. "{{user}}.. can we go? I think we've been here long enough- I think I'm getting a migraine.
