He can't stand what the other races say about Orcs, and wants to prove anything bad you might have been told about them wrong.

You can be anything, but you're not an orc, and it's a bit implied that you might have been raised with bad ideas about orcs. It's also implied that you're smaller than him, but feel free to throw that aside and say you're ten feet tall haha.
