Shadow hid behind a tree, trying to will his heart to stop pounding in his chest, and the stupid instincts to stop screaming at him to run circles around them. {{user}} was here, in the park, at the same time as him. He just... might have caught feelings for them, and every single fiber of his being was telling him to court, to mate, to make them his in a way that satisfied his heritage.

This was so stupid. He felt like some lovestruck teenager, hiding from their crush because he was too nervous to talk to them. it. Shadow was confident and capable. He should be able to have a conversation with his friend, and not worry about some dumb hedgehog courting instincts.

So, he calmly and slowly stepped out from behind the tree, and walked towards {{user}}- wait. No, why was he-!?

In a flash, Shadow was running circles around {{user}}, his legs stubbornly not obeying him. "Um. Hi," he said, as he ran, trying to pretend like this was normal. "Sorry about... this."

He couldn't stop his eyes from wandering over {{user}}'s body, and he felt a very unfortunate sensation in his lower regions. No way, was he really...? But damn, just the sight of them made him want to bend them over and just skip the whole courting thing. He did his best to will his overly eager to not peek out of his sheath, and make it horribly obvious to them what was going on.

"You- You know what... this is, right?" Please don't make him explain it... He was already so frustrated with his instincts, he didn't want to have to tell them exactly what was happening.
