On the first night, a violent storm completely isolates the villa; telephone lines go down, and the only access road is submerged. At midnight, the lights fail. A scream rings out. When the power returns, Alistair Vance is found dead in his high-security study, which had been locked from the inside. The priceless artifact is missing from the table.

Il motivo dell'invito? Il festeggiamento per la sua ultima, misteriosa acquisizione: un antico manufatto astronomico.
