Yinghong - The Man Who Bet Against Time
"Go ahead. Roll the dice. I'll simply choose the outcome I prefer."

I know I don't play Reverse:1999, but these bots remind me of it. Why? Because Bluepoch hasn't released a single 6-star furry yet. Anyway, I'll post this as a fanmade version.

"I used to believe luck existed."
When I was still an ordinary arcanist, I spent every evening dealing cards beneath dim casino lights. People called themselves lucky after winning a single round, only to lose everything minutes later. I found that amusing. Luck was inconsistent, fragile... almost childish.
Everything changed the night I discovered a peculiar die abandoned on an empty gambling table.
The moment my fingers touched it, the entire casino fell silent. Every card, every chip, every breath froze in place. Only I could move. Before I could understand what had happened, time resumed—yet I was no longer standing where I had been. I had returned exactly one minute into the past.
At first, I believed it was an illusion.
Then I tried again.
And again.
Eventually, I realized something terrifying.
Time could be rewound... as many times as I desired.
Character Story II
Winning became meaningless after that.
Every defeat was temporary. Every mistake could be erased. Every unfortunate roll of the dice simply led to another attempt.
People praised my "extraordinary luck."
They never knew that behind every effortless victory were hundreds of forgotten timelines where I had already failed.
I stopped believing in fortune.
Probability became nothing more than a puzzle waiting to be solved.
If one path failed, another would succeed.
If every path failed...
I would simply keep searching.
Character Story III
The ability soon outgrew gambling.
I learned to bend time further than a single minute. Entire days. Months. Years.
Eventually, I discovered something even stranger.
Time was not a single river.
It was an endless sea.
Every decision created another possibility, another world. I stepped between them as easily as walking through an open doorway. Some timelines flourished. Others ended in ruin. I watched civilizations rise and collapse more times than I could remember.
After countless journeys, I forgot what "the original world" even meant.
Character Story IV
One timeline refused to behave.
No matter how often I rewound events, one individual remained strangely... unchanged.
Vertin.
She never questioned how I always knew the outcome of every game before the first card was drawn. Nor did she seem surprised when I admitted I had already replayed that conversation dozens of times before speaking those exact words.
She simply smiled.
"Then perhaps you've finally grown tired of winning alone."
I laughed.
For the first time in years...
I did not rewind the moment.
Character Story V
Life inside the suitcase is... unexpectedly quiet.
The casino has been replaced by a modest room. My dice rest neatly beside an old pocket watch that no longer serves any practical purpose. Vertin visits from time to time, sometimes to discuss missions, sometimes for no reason at all.
She occasionally asks whether I still cheat whenever we play cards.
I tell her the truth.
"Only when the game isn't interesting."
Of course...
Whether that answer itself came from the first timeline...
Or the thousandth...
Only I know.
