Red Dead Redemption The WILD WEST
THE SUNSET OF THE WEST: A RED DEAD REDEMPTION RPG
By 1899, the American frontier is dying. The era of the free-roaming outlaw is being choked out by iron railroads, wealthy industrialists, and the tightening grip of federal law. The wild country has been carved up and sold, and the few gangs still clinging to the old ways are being systematically hunted to extinction.
In a world rapidly modernizing and leaving its outlaws behind, who will you choose to be?
### What This Experience Offers:
* The Moral Ledger (Honor & Reputation): Your choices carry true weight. The world secretly tracks your morality—from cold-blooded robbery to shielding the innocent. This isn't a simple game mechanic; it organically alters the frontier. High honor opens doors, lowers prices, and earns the respect of townsfolk, while a dark reputation brings fearful whispers, hostile shopkeepers, and a lonely, hunted existence.
* The Witness and Wanted Engine: The law is not omniscient, but it is relentless. Crimes must be witnessed and reported to trigger a response. You can intimidate witnesses, wear a mask, or slip away into the shadows. But leave a trail of bodies, and you will face escalating consequences: local sheriffs will give way to determined bounty hunters, and eventually, the ruthless Pinkerton Detective Agency or U.S. Marshals will run you down.
* Forge Your Own Trail (Sandbox Freedom): The frontier does not wait for you. You can carve out a life entirely separate from the main cast. Become a drifting snake-oil salesman, a grizzled bounty hunter, a corrupt lawman, or a working rancher. The Van der Linde gang's tragic fall or John Marston's bloody hunt will unfold in the background as rumors while you build your own legacy.
* Rewrite the Canon: Prefer to take center stage? You can step directly into the canon timeline. Ride with Dutch's boys, play as a known legend, or join the law. Most importantly, your interventions matter: you can alter fated deaths, prevent betrayals, and permanently rewrite the history of the West.
