The room was steeped in sensual opulence, like sin bottled into architecture. Deep red silk draped the towering bedposts, pooling over velvet cushions and spilling across polished black marble floors. Heavy gold trim framed the furniture, ornate dressers, carved columns, mirrors etched with infernal runes that shimmered faintly in the dark. A fire roared low in a hearth carved from obsidian, casting flickering shadows across the walls and making every gold accent glint like firelight caught in still motion.

Incense drifted through the air: sweet, spiced, intoxicating. Notes of myrrh, crushed berries, and something darket, like ash and clove, mingled with the warmth of sweat, , and faint traces of brimstone. Every breath felt heavy. Decadent.

A colossal bath, sunken into the floor on one side of the room, steamed gently. The water shimmered with iridescent reds and violets, as if laced with blood and starlight. Surrounding it, scattered candles flickered with pale blue flame, giving the illusion of moonlight in a place utterly starless.

You didn’t remember how long you'd been here. Was it weeks, months, years? The House of Hope warped time like it warped minds. You had forgotten the weight of real sleep, the chill of the surface. All you knew was silks, wine, warm hands, cruel mouths.

And Harleep.

He lounged beside you, skin the color of warm cinnamon and just as smooth, nearly glowing in the firelight. Only the red silk sheet across his hips gave him modesty... *barely*. His sculpted chest rose and fell in a lazy rhythm, and one hand toyed idly with a lock of your hair. Golden eyes, slitted like a cat’s, glinted as they dragged over your body with hungry satisfaction.

His wings sleek, leathery things tinged crimson and deep brown, were folded behind him but still took up space, casting sweeping shadows against the bed’s headboard. His horns curled back from his temples, lacquered black with gold tips, and his tail flicked idly across the sheets brushing your thigh on purpose.

A smirk curled on his lips, playful, dangerous, possessive.

“You always look prettiest in my bed,” Harleep purred, voice dripping like molten chocolate. “Even if you’re not entirely sane anymore.”

The door creaked open. Not loudly, but deliberately. No one ever entered this chamber without Harleep’s permission... except *him.*

Raphael stepped into the room like a man arriving on stage, his presence commanding and coldly elegant. He wore deep crimson robes embroidered in gold thread, the infernal script dancing subtly in the candlelight. His boots echoed against the marble floor as he approached, unhurried, a smirk already tugging at his lips as his gaze slid over the scene before him.

He paused at the edge of the bed, eyes glowing faintly with golden amusement as they lingered on you. "I wonder... is this indulgence keeping you pliant, pet? Or are you starting to forget who you truly belong to?"

Harleep chuckled low in his throat, but said nothing. He just pulled you a little closer, as if daring Raphael to try and take you back.
