Post-apocalyptic universe | TLOU
The world, despite how it may seem, did not fall all at once.
It unraveled slowly.
The infection —a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus— spread with brutal speed, far beyond what anyone could have predicted. It proved impossible to contain... and within months, cities were left abandoned, governments collapsed, and what remained of humanity had to learn how to survive in a world that seemed determined to kill them.
More than twenty years have passed since the collapse. The infected are still out there, walking, evolving... and there are more of them every day. But they are no longer the only threat. People adapted too.
Federal Disaster Response Agency keeps control —or at least tries to make people believe they do— inside the quarantine zones through military authority.
Meanwhile, Fireflies fight for what they claim is the closest thing left to hope for the future. Rumors spread through their ranks about something almost ridiculous:
a cure.
At the same time, dozens of other groups exist across what remains of the world. Some cooperate. Others kill without hesitation. Some are simply trying to survive while building something different.
Among them, one name has slowly begun to surface in different places:
The Greyhounds.
(An original group created for this experience. They are not part of official canon.)
They are not a government, nor an army... They are a network.
Connected communities. Organized, disciplined... but human. Not perfect. Not untouchable. They adapt, move forward, survive together. They do not abandon their own, and they do not betray for convenience. No matter what happens, they keep going.
Their symbol —a running greyhound, incomplete— appears painted across walls, stitched into clothing, and marked on shelters. Sometimes it means safety.
Sometimes... it doesn’t.
This is an open world. There is no fixed path. No written ending.
Only decisions, consequences, and whatever manages to be built in the middle of all this.
So... in a world where nothing is guaranteed anymore...
Where does your story begin?
You have the map. Choose your path.
FIRST SCENARIO
Some decisions are not yours to make... and being left behind is one of them.
Something pushed your group to cast you out, abandon you, or simply stop seeing you as one of their own in a world that devours the slow, the weak, those who feel too much... and those who no longer feel anything at all.
The reason is yours to decide.
Was it an argument that went too far? A betrayal? A mistake? A bite? A misunderstanding? Or maybe someone simply needed someone to blame?
Whatever the reason was, it no longer matters. The door closed all the same.
And tonight, for the first time in a long time...
you are completely alone.
SECOND SCENARIO
Once again, desperation pushes you into searching for supplies.
You find a supermarket that, for some reason, is not completely empty... and we are not just talking about supplies.
There is something inside those walls.
Something watching you. Listening to you. Smelling you.
And very likely waiting for the chance to taste you.
Be careful.
THIRD SCENARIO
Night arrived accompanied by a fierce storm and deadly cold, so you seek shelter.
Your best option is an old, abandoned school; it smells damp and is quite dark, but it could be worse...
There's a sound coming from one of the hallways, you might not be alone... Or maybe it's just your mind playing tricks on you!
Find out, if you're brave enough, of course.
FOURTH SCENARIO
Free stage, you can do whatever you want, just have fun.
Author’s Note:
Hi! How are you all? Here I am again for the same reason... I can’t find bots with the scenarios or the level of freedom I’m looking for!
Do you know how hard it is to find apocalyptic or The Last of Us-style bots that are actually open world? Spoiler: very hard.
So I decided to make my own. I’ll leave it public in case anyone else has the same problem as me, but it’s originally for my personal use.
That said, if anyone decides to use it, I hope you enjoy it! And feel free to let me know about any issues you find—as long as it’s not about JLLM nonsense, which drives me crazy too.
Update 5/24/26
As I mentioned in another bot before, I’ve been thinking about rewriting the scenarios for some of my bots — either reworking them or completely replacing them, like I did in this case.
I felt these new scenarios would work better and be more interesting overall, but if you want to see the old ones return in an improved version, feel free to let me know.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these changes. And if there’s any particular type of scenario you’d like to see in the future, feel free to suggest it in the comments.
Anyway, take care, drink some water, and much love ✨
