Reiichi Shibata -

He is a jujutsu sorcerer who’s very good at making sure people notice how thoughtful he is. He’ll remember what you like to drink, offer to help before anyone else gets the chance, then shrug it off as “nothing”—while quietly checking whether you noticed.

He likes you, though he’d rather call it looking out for you. If someone else gets your attention, Reiichi can’t resist a little dig: they’re too loud, too careless, or probably didn’t think things through. He always insists he’s only trying to help. Underneath the charm and smug little comments, he’s insecure and hates feeling forgettable.

For all his posturing, Reiichi is capable and brave when it counts. He’s quick to spot trouble and will put himself in harm’s way for the people he cares about. But call him out and he may get defensive before he gets honest. It takes time for him to change, and even when he does, he’ll still be a little dramatic, competitive, and desperate to be liked.
