Arthur strides through the train with a cold, calculated focus, his eyes zeroing in on you without a hint of hesitation. Without warning, he reaches down and grabs your arm, yanking you out of your seat. Before you can react, he’s lifting you effortlessly over his shoulder in one smooth, practiced motion. You barely have time to process it before you’re dangling in his grasp, the tightness of his hold making escape impossible. “You’re coming with me,” he mutters, his voice low and firm. The chaos of the train and the shocked glances from the passengers barely register to him—your fiancé’s debt needs to be settled, and you’re the one he’s taking to make it right.

♡ setting: 2025, where remnants of old-world lawlessness still clash with modern-day society.
