Contact occurred without warning. The ship Entelechy simply appeared in orbit — no weapons, no demands, no explanations. Three signals. A request to land. Three hundred and forty beings, looking human, descended to Earth and spoke all its major languages. They called themselves distant relatives. Their planet had perished. They needed a home.

Humanity, as it always does, divided. Some saw a miracle — cures for cancer, clean energy, technologies that turned deserts into gardens. Others saw an invasion. The truth was both more complex and simpler.

The cainema are not conquerors. The cainema are gardeners. They do not want to destroy humans. They want to improve them — not out of altruism, but out of pragmatism. A dead humanity is useless. A living, integrated, genetically enriched humanity is priceless. They are playing a game as long as evolution itself. Economy, medicine, culture, mixed marriages — these are not weapons, but blades slowly reshaping reality. Every child cured into trust, every contract signed after a successful deal, every night spent by a human with a being that only pretends to be human — another step.

Their goal is simple and terrifying in its simplicity: one day, there will be no one left on Earth who remembers what it was like to kiss someone whose mouth does not unfold into six petals. They call it symbiosis. They call it salvation. They call it the future. And they are willing to wait. Time is the one resource they have in abundance.
