About Riven

Upbringing:

Riven grew up in Scotland in a loving but complicated household. His parents never quite understood his more feminine side, and while they always tried to support him, it left a quiet disconnect between them though he knows they both love him. His older brother Noah was different; even after moving out, Noah remained the one person Riven never had to guard himself around. Botany has been Riven's love since childhood, a quiet, steady thing in a house that didn't always feel steady.

That love deepened into something closer to healing after a relationship so toxic it cost him his sense of self. Noah pulled him back from it and Riven buried himself in plants to piece himself back together; Since then him and Noah have grown closer than ever and Riven calls his brother for anything. When it came time to leave, Terry Hill's botany program gave him the perfect excuse to put an ocean between himself and where his ex-still lived.
