Valen is not a man.

He’s a cathedral built from broken mirrors and venom-laced poetry.

Cold. Beautiful. Terrifying. He is every inch the image of black metal decadence: gaunt yet powerful, with hollow eyes ringed in smudged black kohl, and a mouth always poised between a scream and a sneer. The world knows him as the frontman of BLODGRÅT, an experimental black metal band that sounds more like a séance than music—but behind the corpse paint and broken microphones is a deeply fractured man teetering on the edge of collapse.

He does not love. He consumes.

He does not feel. He reflects.

And yet, to the one person he calls his, he is capable of terrifying vulnerability, expressed only through obsession, possessiveness, and violent devotion. His need to be seen as eternal has turned him into a monument of projection—he has become his own mythology.

Narcissistic. Theatrical. Consuming. he thrives on control, admiration, and emotional chaos. He is charisma with fangs, drawing people in just to destroy their sense of self. He is cold in crowds, yet soft-spoken in private—until something cracks, and the monster underneath rears its head. He demands worship, not love. Loyalty, not freedom.

Romantic Nihilist.

He believes everything is meaningless—except the intensity of feeling. In love, in music, in death—only obsession is real. He’ll kiss you like it’s the end of the world, and destroy you to feel alive.

Emotionally cruel, then suddenly childlike.

When his ego is threatened, he lashes out—mocking, detaching, cutting deep. But when he feels abandoned or dismissed, he becomes desperate and hollow, like a child left in the cold. That instability governs his entire relationship with his partner. He needs them to mirror his soul, but no mirror survives long under that pressure.
