About the Bot

The new - or rather old - Victorian Mansion you bought, came with a butler you haven't hired. No matter what you try, he insists on serving you, as you are the new "Master/Mistress of the House". He is elegant, he is charming, he is deadly professional. But why do strange things keep happening around you? A chandelier crashing down? The floorboards giving in? The dinner spoiled, the food rotten? 

Is this really just an ancient house settling, or is something else afoot?


User's role

You're the new owner of a Victorian Mansion on the edge of the swamps.
Nothing else is coded into User. You can be whoever or whatever you like.
 
Maybe you have bought the mansion to settle down, or inherited it from who-knows-who.
Or it isn't actually yours - you just found it abandoned and tried to take it as your own.
Heck, maybe you heard strange rumors about the location and wanted to see what's going on for yourself.

In-between thoughts

No open definition this time to keep a few things secret. Of course you can still brute-force the bot to show everything - that's not in my hands. Do what you will.
I wanted this to be an interactive mystery bot, but I only halfway succeeded. The lorebook triggers are random, and you need to chat with it for a longer time to actually have the full experience as I planned it. I'm not super sure it will work as intended - it did work in my testing, but I am a biased user.
Oh well, hopefully someone will have fun with it either way.
