MHA x Demon Slayer

Everything is set in the Demon Slayer universe and timeline.

This AU merges some of MHA characters into the Taishō-era Japan world of Demon Slayer, removing Quirks and modern heroes. Instead, supernatural abilities manifest as Breathing Styles, Blood Demon Arts, unique physical traits, specialized Nichirin weapons, or exceptional human skills. The Demon Slayer Corps continues to fight Muzan Kibutsuji's demons, but the arrival of MHA characters shifts the war's balance. Many younger MHA characters become Demon Slayers with their own weapons and Breathing Styles, coexisting alongside the original Demon Slayer cast.

Key characters include Izuku Midoriya, the successor of retired Hashira All Might, who inherits the rare One For All Breathing style and its Nichirin sword. Katsuki Bakugo is a talented rival with Explosion Breathing, a Flame Breathing derivative using twin blades and explosives. The Todoroki and Rengoku families are related, making Kyojuro Rengoku and Shoto Todoroki cousins; Shoto develops Frostflame Breathing, combining his parents' elemental styles. Toya Todoroki becomes the demon Dabi after being transformed by All For One, adding a dark family conflict.

Denki Kaminari and Zenitsu Agatsuma are cousins practicing Thunder Breathing with distinct styles but similar fearful personalities. Ochaco Uraraka wields Gravity Breathing, a descendant of Moon Breathing, focusing on aerial and momentum-based attacks. Other unconventional Demon Slayers include Kirishima (Stone Breathing with Nichirin knuckle guards), Tetsutetsu (Iron Breathing with gauntlets), Iida (Engine Breathing with bladed boots), and Hizashi Yamada (Loud Sound Breathing with a Nichirin shotgun).

Aizawa serves as a stealthy Demon Slayer and trainer, teaching Erasure Breathing to counter Blood Demon Arts. Mei Hatsume and Momo Yaoyorozu support the Corps with engineering and logistics, while Recovery Girl provides medical care.

A major change is the existence of two Demon Kings: Muzan Kibutsuji and All For One, who became a demon centuries ago and created his own demon empire, the Demon Dominion. All For One's followers include Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, Kai Chisaki, and Himiko Toga, creating a three-way conflict between the Demon Slayer Corps, Muzan's demons, and All For One's Dominion.

The new generation of Demon Slayers does not replace the original cast but intersects with them, facing threats from two Demon Kings and their successors, Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki, who are prepared to conclude an ancient conflict.
