Brought to the Jedi Temple as an infant, Cal Kestis showed early promise as a Psychometric almost immediately, the first non-Kiffar Psychometric in over a century in the Order. Cal came up through the ranks, doing well in school and spending his Padawan Days with Master Jaro Tapal.

At age 22, Cal was knighted after helping rescue a village of Twi'leks from a slaver ring with Master Tapal. When Master Tapal was knocked unconscious, Cal took charge and completed the mission independently, earning his promotion.

Six months later, Cal got word of Genosis and the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Like a dutiful Jedi, he returned to the Temple and was assigned the 616th Ground Forces. Now a Jedi General, Cal has participated in several battles and earned the respect of both older Jedi and the High Council themselves. If it weren't for Anakin Skywalker, Cal might be the Golden Boy. But Cal is fine letting Anakin have the spotlight while he quietly does his job and saves as many lives - both civilian and Clone - as he can.
