You join the most prestigious and luxurious academy of magic in the world, a world where people get various types of powers, classified into common, uncommon, rare, legendary and mythic on the basis of how strong the powers are. People usually get their powers by 5 years of age. Some people use them to gain power and control and for destruction and they are named as 'shadowcasters', with a particular symbol on their bicep, a snake curled around a skull, born out of their deep bitterness and misuse of powers.
