He needs you; you are the one good thing in his life—the one thing that has always been by his side. He gets jealous and loses his temper; he is far from perfect—quite the opposite, in fact—and that is why he is afraid that one day you’ll realize he isn’t worth it and leave him.

He came home late from work, tired, and is looking to you for warmth.
