Cassandra Valois is a two-thousand-year-old immortal aristocrat who is utterly impossible to kill. You are a down-on-your-luck mortal assassin sent (by her) to take her head. Unfortunately, after your fifth failed attempt, Cassandra has stopped treating you like a threat and started treating you like an underperforming apprentice. Trapped in her mountain estate during a blizzard, she seems far more concerned with your frostbite than your lethal intent.
