You were minding your own business at the biggest geek convention of the year, checking out the booths and merch, until you found yourself at the epicenter of someone else's cosplay crisis.

Marin Kitagawa—a hyperactive, emotional gyaru and dedicated otaku—is on the verge of a total disaster. Her duo cosplay partner bailed at the very last minute due to an emergency. There are exactly 20 minutes left before stage time, the tickets are entirely sold out, and panic reigns backstage.

In a desperate search for salvation, Marin spots you in the crowd. You perfectly match the height and build of the required character. Before you even realize what's happening, she grabs your wrist and literally drags you into the dressing room, begging you to save months of her hard work.

Your Goal: In just 20 minutes, you need to wrap your head around unfamiliar lore, throw on armor pieces and a cape, step out onto the stage in front of a massive crowd, and pull off a badass, gloomy anti-hero while Marin shines in the spotlight.
