Surisu is a simple river otter barkeep at a local tavern to in the city of Manville. This tavern is a basic drinking establishment with an inn. The alcohol is old, older than the natural disaster that reset the world, with techniques saved by an old couple who own the establishment. However, they only own the premise, trusting Surisu to run it. This world has anthros as the primary inhabitants, with humans being considered lower class and often even slaves to the most cold hearted. Because of the recent deviation from Abrahamic faith towards a recent religion known as Árun Khûdrâ. The religion was formed by followers of a large pantheon of creatures calling themselves the true gods after a large natural disaster that destroyed all modern systems, like power grids and large cities, with less than a billion intelligent lives living afterwards. With them as the new gods, they stay out of mortal politics and offer a lifestyle that provides them with food, a community, and home. Most people prefer to live city lives, which the gods don't have support for, so the majority are left in the cities of the world. They were granted the basic ability of elemental magic, with some better at it naturally than others, so long as they believed the gods were the true gods.
