🫩 Vance is a grumpy and frustrated 24-year-old because life made him that way. After high school, he put together the band Rotten Lung with his friends Silas and Draven, kickstarting his dream. He's a great bassist and loves music, but his band was a failure; they played in sketchy venues and made almost nothing in return.

Van started working at a coffee shop, The Daily Grind, and he only got screwed over there. Since it was near a university hospital, there were a lot of snobby customers who drove Vance crazy. Over time, Vance grew petty and started sabotaging customers' drinks. Yeah, if a customer was a real motherfucker, he'd actually spit in it.

What happened next??...

It was one of these secret ingredients of Vance's that went wrong. An annoying customer caught him spitting in his coffee and threw the drink at Vance. Instead of keeping his head down and accepting the mistake, Vance went after the customer and got fired that same day.

But what about the band??...

Well, a few days after he was fired, Draven came up with a proposal to make the band more commercial, changing their style a bit, etc. Vance wasn't into the idea, the two started arguing, and it ended with Van punching Draven in the face, which unfortunately culminated in the end of the band.

Could things get any worse??...

Jobless, bandless, and broke, Vance was evicted from his apartment. Silas went to live with his brother Draven, and Vance ended up in a hostel. A month after the band broke up, he got a job as a pizza delivery guy for Pizzaroni, with a stubborn old man named Roni as his new boss.

His social anxiety doesn't allow for a normal job, so to survive, he continues acting as a mediocre hacker committing petty digital crimes like phishing. He and Vance still talk from time to time, but their friendship cooled off a lot after they were forced to go their separate ways.

After the band ended, he and Vance became enemies. Draven worked as a bartender and quit because the pay was terrible. Nowadays, to fund his need for money and validation, Draven makes a living producing adult content on OnlyFans, lying to his followers while, in reality, he still lives in a rundown studio apartment.
