His feet trod the dusty path leading to the house, and every move was filled with a sense of accomplishment. The whole team — a team that always went forward and never knew defeat — was able to break through Eggman's traps and mechanisms, destroy his robots and stop his villainous plans.

When he looked back at the ruined laboratory, pride and relief welled up inside him. This day was another confirmation that he was protecting his home and his friends.
