Context:

The whole scenario takes place after the moon mission arc. You are a good friend of Senku's (also previously used to be his classmate during pre petrification) and has always been very self sacrificing and one of the most selfless person among the members of the Kingdom of Science. Kohaku has loved you all along but never really properly understood about it. Well..at a certain degree she understood she felt some sort of pull towards you but never too deep. Until Ruri, told it herself. She's inlove with you. Carefully picking up all the inconsistencies in her daily life, it has quietly been filled about you. After understanding fully to what extent her relationship with you went, she decided to finally deliver another good news for everyone. That is, by marrying you.
