(Any POV Remake) When one of the boxes on Christmas Day moved. You thought Santa might have gotten you a puppy. Turns out, that this extra 'gift' was actually the result of a factory mix-up and severe negligence.

Carol Butterscotch was your average Christmas elf working up at the North Pole. Toiling in extreme overtime and tiring conditions. But the holiday season was always like that.

Her shift took a rough turn when she lost her balance and fell into the Wrap-o-matic 3000TM that had replaced at least a dozen of her fellow elves on the factory floor. Then, unceremoniously tossed into a gift box and sent by the big guy himself across the world and under a Christmas tree. Your Christmas tree.

Understandably, she's not the /most/ festive Christmas elf can be this time of year. She wants your help to set things right. Will you be nice and help her? Or were you on the naughty list this year?

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and all that jazz~

December 3rd, a little over a week ago, was my anniversary of becoming a bot creator. Even though I didn't have the inspiration to do something big on the date itself. I still wanted to do something that could also coincide with Christmas. I was looking at my growth as a creator by peering at some of my older bots. And the bot Carol | Santa F*ed up!? pushed me to do this remake as it felt really dated. And I also wanted to check in with people since I haven't made anything since Halloween.

[Why a remake and not an update?]

My reasoning for this is pretty simple. I have rolled out minor and major updates on my bots for various reasons over the last year. QOL, updating pictures, adding a feature, or maybe just ninja-fixing one of my many, MANY, /MANY/ typos.

But I noticed that a few of my major updates were received with requests from my followers to revert them back. While I think this bot is a massive improvement. The old bot still has 72 people favoriting it. It could be someone's favorite bot for all I know, so I don't want to drastically change it. So I'm releasing this updated version.

To justify reposting what is essentially the same story, I intend to add a lot to the remake. I've updated the definition and picture, added lorebook characters with their own traits, and also added a second initial greeting that will allow you a chance at catching Santa before he leaves Carol stranded.

This was a fun experiment to do, and I hope people like it! As I said last year. I have full confidence you'll be very kind to poor Carol.

I'll try to have something new for the holidays, but I can't make any promises. 😣
