Like damn, my bad for not having an encyclopedic knowledge of every character in a series I barely even watch.

Apparently making a single mistake means I’m suddenly public enemy number one. God forbid someone gets two similar-looking characters mixed up after doing a quick search instead of dedicating their entire life to studying the lore. What’s even crazier is that half the time people don’t even correct you normally. They act like you personally insulted their bloodline. You could’ve just said, “Actually, that’s the wrong character,” and we’d all move on in five seconds, but no, somehow it turns into a whole thing.

I swear some people see a mistake and immediately assume malicious intent. Not confusion. Not an honest mix-up. Nope. Clearly I woke up this morning with the goal of spreading misinformation about anime characters I barely know. It’s one wrong character name. The world kept spinning. The sun still came up. Nobody died. Relax.
