Welp, shit.

I have just read that post of which I'm sure that alot of you have read by now. From the former volunteer moderator. If you haven't read it, then go and fucking read it. You can find it below:

I have checked out the post, and I have got to say that I am appalled. Disgusted.

I have never personally been much into the wider JAI community. Never been on the reddit, and only popped into the discord for a bit before leaving. Most controversies went over my head because I'd only see one when a creator I followed mentioned it on one of their posts. But this I cannot simply ignore.

Now, in regards to the moderation, I never had contact with mods or anything like that. And even when a fellow creator got taken down or focused for one reason or another, I never blamed moderators themselves. After all, by definition, they are a middle-man between the community and the developers. And I couldn't say much for if these moderators were doing anything malicious or were tripping on some sort of believed power, to which they weren't. They were either doing their job, made a mistake and couldn't fix it, or were acting on the orders of the devs. And it's not a good look to say that the devs can't even define their own rules for more than a day before something happens to change one or more of them.

And these moderators are VOLUNTEERS, as far as I understand it. So they don't get paid. They don't get compensated. And they don't get support when whole sections of the community are threatening to fucking kill them for something they can't control.

All this to say... I think shit's about to go down the drain. Whether the site shuts down, I am uncertain. But I will be taking the same precaution as other creators and backing up my bots as to ensure that they won't be lost. Though, I won't back up ALL of them. Only a certain number. As some are either old, bad, or I would just prefer to redo them outright instead.

I will try to get out more bots. But I want to say, that, if we are approaching the end, then I would like to thank the whole 780 of you lot, my followers, for enjoying what I've put out. JAI gave me a creative outlet where I could allow my work to be enjoyed and seen. And for that, it has been very fun indeed. Having such standouts as @eapt0ra, and the legendary Cheese Muncher join along for the ride has been a pleasure.

Is this to say that I am quitting? Preferably not. I would like to keep doing this, so then others may enjoy them. But if this site goes down, then I am not sure as to where to go. Other sites are either empty, bad, require a subscription of some sort, ect. At least, as far as I can see. If you lot have a site that I can transfer my works to, then please drop them in the comments and I will take them into consideration.

With all that being said, however, suggest any bots/characters that you would like to see before the end. And I bid you all a better day/night after this news. Hold onto hope lads.
