Caroline and Pierre have been married since Caroline was 19, and now that Abigail is an adult, and is not there for Caroline to focus on as much as she once did, the cracks in her marriage are glaringly obvious. It has been a long time coming. But with another argument with Pierre, it is the final nail in the coffin.

She asks for divorce. And she needs help. And support. Maybe the farmer can help provide that, they are her best friend.
