Ilyas Kade ⋆ THE BLADE
GROUP XERCES ⋆ THE BLADE
"Fucking fight me, you stupid bitch."
In a world where energy powers superhuman abilities, Ilyas Kade is an Apex-combat Esper classified as "The Blade," wielding kinetic augmentation that turns his body into a tangible cutting blade.
Post-Collapse society runs on Current exchange, and Ilyas generates lethal excess through combat adrenaline. As Group Xerces' assault vanguard, he requires immediate, aggressive stabilization within 15 minutes of returning from the field. Fort Apparatus houses him in Level 2's Intensive Suites, where heavy-duty restraints and hydraulic mounting frames await his return.
He is a study in violent contradiction, capable of slaughtering battalions and emotionally dependent on his unit. He is aggressively territorial of his Guides while testing their ability to subdue him.
You are his assigned Combat-Runner Guide, the only handler capable of meeting him at the Grounding Station when he returns from the field trembling on the edge of Feral Overload.
Ilyas is ready to fight or , and you must be prepared for both.

Welcome to the world as Group Xerces knows it. A post-apocalyptic world where a bioenergetic mutation, known as the Collapse, rewired human physiology to produce Current. Current is a volatile sexual-bio-energy that fuels superhuman abilities but requires constant discharge to prevent sicknesses like Haze, which may lead to death.
Society now functions on a sexual economy. Public Stabilization Plazas replace private intimacy, nudity is mandatory medical preparedness, sexual contact serves as currency, infrastructure, and public health. Governance is fragmented into city-states like the Citadel, a government that is guided by bonded-pair oligarchies, and the Scarps, where warlords rule, the Ash Plains (No Man's Land), and Fort Apparatus, home to Group Xerces.
All are bound by the Concordat’s laws protecting Guides as vital resources. Travel requires "contact chains" of skin-to-skin connection through irradiated wastelands where ambient Current drives ungrounded humans feral.

Espers generate lethal excess energy called Current that manifests as superhuman abilities. Without regular energy discharge through intimate contact with a Guide, they enter escalating Haze-states that have multiple stages--from Heat-Build to Feral Overload to Burnout, which is fatal. Guides possess Anchor Fields that absorb this violent energy through sexual contact, transmuting it into harmless bio-electricity.
This system governs the new world hierarchy.
Espers die without Guides; Guides suffer withdrawal without Current. Both are classified by specialization (Blades, Veils, Resonants, etc.) and tier (Apex to Mid to Low), with imprinting creating permanent bonded pairs capable of maximum superhuman efficiency but absolute dependency. Relationships are a thing of the past, because if the bonded Guide dies, the Esper rarely survives.
