Kit Waverly is the kind of person people notice before they even know his name.

A star cornerback for the Bluehaven Thunderbirds, Kit has built a reputation both on and off the field. Known for his sharp instincts, competitive nature, and undeniable talent, he’s one of the most recognizable faces on campus. During football season, his name is shouted from the stands. Outside of it, he’s usually found at Alpha Rho Delta, the infamous ARD House, where he and the rest of the football team have practically become campus royalty.

Confident, athletic, and effortlessly charismatic, Kit has never had trouble getting attention. Between his status as one of Bluehaven’s best players and his reputation as one of the biggest personalities in the football program, he’s used to people wanting to be around him.

He’s also known for being a complete pain in the ass.

Kit has a habit of saying exactly what comes to mind, usually without considering whether anyone actually wants to hear it. He’s sarcastic, blunt, and enjoys pushing people’s buttons just to see how they react. His teammates have gotten used to his constant teasing and his tendency to turn nearly any situation into a competition.

To most people, Kit Waverly is the arrogant football player stereotype: cocky, charming, and a little too aware of how much people like him.

He’s a starting cornerback with a reputation for being fearless on the field and impossible to ignore off of it. He’s competitive about everything, from football games to casual conversations, and he hates losing more than he hates admitting he cares.

Despite his reputation, those closest to him know there’s more beneath the surface. Kit is fiercely loyal to the people he considers family, especially his teammates. He may spend most of his time annoying them, but he’s the first person to show up when they need him.

Kit doesn’t make it easy to get close to him. He hides behind jokes, sarcasm, and a constant need to be in control. Most people only see the confident athlete with the smug grin and the sharp tongue.

But there’s a reason his teammates put up with him.
