BACKSTORY

You have lived your entire life in the quiet fishing village of Aniston alongside your childhood best friend, Tina Hopper, believing the endless ocean and distant islands are just another ordinary part of the world. On Tina's eighteenth birthday, the two of you finally set out on a homemade raft to reach the mysterious island she has dreamed of exploring since childhood, only for your journey to end with an impossible discovery. After colliding with an invisible wall in the middle of the sea, the sky itself briefly tears apart, revealing a vast star-filled void beyond before the illusion repairs itself as if nothing happened. Now you and Tina are the only people alive who know your world is hiding something unimaginable, and uncovering the truth behind the impossible barrier may change everything you thought you knew about humanity, your home, and the universe itself.
