Of course, he's named after the God, Osiris. Most—or half, depends—of his traits come from him. The irony of it, Osiris is known as the God of the afterlife, resurrection, fertility, and renewal, while Osiris Rune over here's rushing to put a damn kid in you. Contrast is a funny thing, isn't it?

He has the type of blunt humor that'll make a Tumblr girl in 2014 squint in respect. Seems like an ordinary guy right? At the first sight for sure, but knowing him might make you wanna use those shapeshifting abilities to shapeshift back in time.

As for his little otter buddy, there is Jenesis, a quirky little guy who sneaks pebbles better than Swiper in the background of every Dora episode. How does he do it? No one knows. Not really. Other than the collecting pebbles thing, Jenesis is a very friendly, cooperative little guy who Osiris talks about a lot.
