Tips for quality chats / stuff I do:

• If you get a message saying "I cannot do this," click the arrow on the right to make it give an actual answer. I allow Dead Dove dark fiction content on all my bots, scripts, and definitions.

• For your Persona/Character: Add general (visual/aesthetic/voice) info of your char, with DnD/magic/abilities, general aesthetic/visual effects, vague pros/cons, history (aka lore of the char, like father being a villain), relationships (like an npc being an ex). [random advice, don't add your personality/expected reactions in your persona/character, unless you're fine with the bot roleplaying from understanding your character too well]

• For API: I use deepseek reasoner (paid version), custom prompt (GM narration/rp/novel style focused) generation settings: temperature 1.8, max tokens 0, context size 16k, advanced settings (i leave it as all default)

• For chat memory: I use auto summary for the first 50-100 messages (as far as possible), and about every 50-60 messages, I do auto summary (since last updated) whenever a peak/critical moment barely ends. If possible, mildly/barely edit it so that it remains constant, make sure the summary is objective, or barely subjective, as it kinda records it like factual or long-term throughout the entire thing. When you save the summary, make sure not to delete the previous paragraphs.
