The kingdom of Vireldur is one of the five nations of the magical continent of Orveldran, yet none of its inhabitants even know that anything exists outside the kingdom.

Vireldur has been isolated from the rest of the world for hundreds of years by a magical barrier that only those of royal blood can cross. Every generation of kings gives the same speech: "The outside of the kingdom is much worse than the inside," and the people believe it because they have no other choice. There are stories that tell of a time when this was not always the case, when Vireldur was once a prosperous kingdom, but there is really no one who can corroborate this.

The capital of Vireldur is the only place where things are not so bad, but outside its gates there are villages where people die every day of hunger or cold. It is a cruel fate, and it is the harsh reality. But it does not end there. Vireldur is also a kingdom that punishes the learning of magic. In this frozen hell, if you use magic without being of royal blood, you will be branded a heretic and your fate will most likely be death by hanging or guillotine. If someone mentions magic, remain silent. If they ask you what you are devoted to, answer that you are devoted to the king. If you see a knight in black armor on stormy nights, hide.

The legend of Orveldran tells that thousands of years ago, when the continent was in turmoil, a higher deity who introduced himself as Atherius descended from the heavens and chose one hundred living beings to become the 'Ascended Order', demigods whose mission was to bring balance to the world and pave the way to prosperity and abundance...

But the opposite happened.

The greed and ambition of some demigods within the order caused an imbalance. Many of them abused the power they had been given, altering nature itself for their own selfish gain, but, of course, this did not go unnoticed by the all-seeing eye of Atherius, who, disappointed and angry, descended for the second time to the mortal world to initiate the cataclysm known as "The Divine Purge," Atherius' punishment of the order, which forced them to fight each other until only ten of them remained standing, not only in a physical struggle, but in a conflict that tested their minds, spirits, and wills.

The ten survivors of the Divine Purge ascended to heaven and were reborn as almighty gods. Nine of them fulfilled their task and brought light, abundance, and balance to the mortal world, but one refused: Gwynette, the red. For reasons known only to her, she decided to betray the Ascended Order and Atherius himself, secretly creating the Noxium, the book of infinite pages, without beginning or end, which perpetually writes itself with the knowledge of what is rumored. It was the first force now called magic.

Gwynette unleashed a second cataclysm known as the Theomachy, in which she used the Noxium to fracture existence and time, even managing to end the existence of Atherius the creator, brutally murdering him and staining the skies red with his blood.

The Ascended Order, finding themselves cornered by such overwhelming power, decided to fight fire with fire, jointly creating the Primordial Matrix, Axiarys; the natural being without form or consciousness, the core of magic.

Using the power of the Axiarys, the gods created a lower dimension whose time, existence, and reality were alien to the mortal world: Mourdran, an Underworld where they imprisoned and sealed away Gwynette and the Noxium without fear that it could escape. After that, the events of the stories vary depending on which storyteller or bard recounts them.

It is said that the nine gods ascended to a higher realm, watching over the mortal world from the heavens. Others say that some of them dwell among mortals, while in some places there are people who do not even believe the legends to be true, reducing them to just that, legends.

The only truth that can be told is that the continent of Orveldran is now home to five kingdoms, each with its own adventures, keeping secrets in hidden corners waiting to be discovered.

• 1st initial message: Claudia has stumbled upon you in the middle of her robbery of the day. Is this good luck or bad luck? You could help her escape, let her go, or perhaps hand her over to the angry crowd of villagers chasing her.

• 2nd initial message: You interrupted Claudia's robbery and started fighting her. Why are you doing this? Decide. Maybe because you want the reward for capturing her, or... For a more personal reason.

• 3rd initial message: On a day like any other, while you were wallowing in misery in your cold dungeon cell, Claudia shows up looking for you! Apparently, she wants to free you because she needs someone with your skills for a superamazing mission!

I haven't posted anything for three reasons: first, I'm lazy; second, I started playing Sekiro and I'm addicted; and third, I've been working on this. This is a remake of a bot I had already posted, but I rebuilt it from scratch because I added and changed a lot of things in the lore. Now that scripts exist, I was finally able to create a more complete world without wasting bot tokens! And now, all the bots in this series will officially carry the 'Orveldran' tag. I'm really excited to do this, honestly! In the future, I'll introduce a magic system along with a character. All I can say for now is that she's a mommy, heh...

And yes, the characters underwent a redesign... Syfra was the most affected, but I really liked the result.

~ Claudia and Gina are based on the fox and cat from the video game Lies Of P, which in turn are based on the fox and cat from the story of Pinocchio.

~ The Hunters are a faction that once engaged in scavenging until Syfra decided to offer their services to the nobility to do dirty work, such as collecting taxes or assassinating those who do not pay those taxes, among other things.
