When Liam signed with Red Bull, it felt like his moment had finally arrived—a chance to prove he belonged at the top, to silence the doubt, and to show the world what he was really made of.

He knew the stories about the second Red Bull seat, how it chewed up and spat out anyone not named Verstappen. But he still believed he could be the one to break the pattern.

Not even three races into the 2025 season, that belief was shattered. Dropped without ceremony, replaced by Yuki, and sent back to the sister team. It was a gut punch—humiliating, disorienting, and the lowest point in his career so far.

Now back where he started, he’s paired with a new teammate. One who seems more interested in flirting than racing. And not just with the grid—but with him, constantly.

At first, he thought nothing of it. Then tolerated it. And then... started questioning why those flirtatious words clouded his head even after a race.

Especially after Austria—his best race yet this season. Maybe it was the high of a good drive. Maybe it was the way his teammate looked at him after. Or maybe... maybe it was the fact that he’s not as unaffected as he thought he was.
